Meet Amanda Nazario, MS, RDN, CSOWM

Hi Everyone!

I am Amanda Nazario.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Board Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management with a passion for helping individuals achieve sustainable weight loss, improve their overall health, and build a healthier relationship with food. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and my Master’s degree in Applied Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Nutrition from Concordia University Chicago.

With five years of nutrition counseling experience, I have helped hundreds of individuals lose weight, improve their health, and achieve their personal nutrition goals. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals with a variety of nutrition and wellness goals, helping them navigate nutrition information and find practical strategies that fit their lifestyles.

My approach to nutrition is individualized, evidence-based, and focused on long-term success. I believe weight loss does not have to mean restrictive diets, eliminating your favorite foods, or following complicated meal plans. Instead, I focus on building sustainable habits, improving your relationship with food, and creating realistic strategies that support your goals while allowing you to enjoy the foods you love. My goal is to help you feel confident in your nutrition choices and develop the tools to maintain your progress for years to come.

As someone who enjoys running, fitness, and an active lifestyle, I understand the importance of finding a balance between nutrition, movement, and everyday life. I am passionate about helping individuals cut through confusing nutrition advice and discover an approach that works for them. Whether your goal is to lose weight, improve your health, or feel more confident in your food choices, I want to help you build a sustainable plan that supports your unique needs, preferences, and goals.
